    I have to say that I was very worried when I did this. I downloaded the app, it scanned the car, took me to the Carita pro for 20 dollars link.

    Complete success.

    Has anyone had any long term issues with Carista modifications?

    long term issues like what ?
    I used it a few years a go same as you to kill the beeping and that was the end of it it stopped the beeping haven't used it again ever since
    after a few years no issues

    I just went to the dealer and asked them to turn the reverse beeps off and they did. Was free.
