A little update on my 2010 Prius! New Wheels, new color!

How is the wrap holding up? Change the color again?

I basically ordered all the parts for a Prius Plus when I purchased mine in 2013. That includes the floor mats, 17" Pirellis forged rims, sticky tires, high performance lower springs and sway bar, lighted door sills with prius logo. I like the handling better although the ride is a bit 'stiff' compared to the flopsy bouncy stock prius. Cornering is very reasonable. I wore out the sticky tires in about 25,000 miles and went to 225/45R-17 Pirelli Cinturato P7 All Season Plus XL tires which now have over 50,000 miles on them and still have at least another 10-20 thousand miles left. The wider tires don't rub either under severe corning conditions like the sticky tires did. I'm guessing it is due to these tires lower profile as they appear quite thin on the rims. All in all though, the springs and sway bar and tires make the Prius a much more tolerable drive (used to drive a Jaguar XKE V-12 in the past

 

Nice! What headlamps and parking lights bulbs do you use on that setup?

 

@Sandog53 hasn't been active since Aug 2014. That's a drag. I'd like to know what kind of mileage he's getting with those 18" Forgestar CF-5 wheels.

Wow , got to tell you that your car look absolutely fantastic , I know this post is old but if you still got the car , I would like to see more pics , I’m not on Pinterest ..... In my opinion , the most beautiful Prius I’ve seen in years ... thanks for sharing ....
