Loving my SofTex moonstone interior and white console!

    This is quite the surprise because when I first saw it, I did not care for it at all. But as I evaluated the various interior color options the moonstone grew on me. And now I have to say, it is such a refreshing change from monotone black, grey, or beige interiors. Really bright and cheery. I've gotten lots of compliments from family and friends too, who say it looks luxurious and classy.

    I do keep a cloth in the car, just in case I need to wipe anything up, but I don't think it will be an issue to keep it clean. Will update in a few months!

    I liked it when I saw it (on Prius v) - but for an extra $8160, nope (OK it includes some other gadgetry on that model too for the $$$).

    I think my steering wheel is Softex, though, and it's nice - on cooler mornings seems warmer, and not too hot after parked in the sun..

    I'm curious for those who have moonstone (and those with Misty Grey SofTex on 2012-2015 Gen 3s), how they're holding up to denim and other material that may leak colour onto foreign materials. I like two-tone or colour contrasting interiors because Toyota typically doesn't do it and I would like to support it. However, for the Prius, Toyota has chosen light colours, almost white for its alternate colour option (Misty Grey in the Gen 3 and Moonstone in the Gen 4). Before you ask about the beige option in the Gen 3/4, it's offered in a very limited sense in Canada. (For Gen 3, it's white or red, different from US. For Gen 4, it's only on the red and only on the top-of-the-line). Our Gen 3 was bisque/black and I liked it.

    We only get a choice of off-black - which I guess isn't a choice at all.

    Mine have lambswool front covers - breaks up the blackness as does the white.

    No issues. Always Armor All it any way and use a towel in the drivers seat.

    BTW, I did not realize the two color interior comes in more than one color. Saw one that looked like tan plus another color.

    If you like black it looks nice. Just not me for a car.

    Alan, I hear the UN is going to force every one to use the same road set up and drive on the right side of the road.:LOL::ROFLMAO:

    Almost got killed near the London Airport at 0530 AM. Was tired and starting down the wrong path in life. Passenger said, "stop you are on the wrong side of the road". Made a U turn and was back on the path.BTW

    Didn't some country in Europe swap to the wrong side a few decades ago - was it Sweden?

    Mine is a 7'4 Grotrian Concert about 3 yrs old - my retirement present to myself. Gets played daily, and improving by the day - hope my playing is too.

    Yep, it total darkness all colors look alike :ROFLMAO: Only when light reflects from it do we notice the color.

    Same here. It's pretty much a black interior only. The only interior option is Harvest Beige SofTex that is only available with Hypersonic Red and on the Technology w/ Advanced Package. So basically, 99% of the cars will have a black interior.

    Yeah, North America gets an additional Harvest Beige interior option.

    I think it was Sweden, yeah. The anniversary was a few weeks ago.

    Not sure why it wasn't white. I was expecting it to be, but just like the Toyo tires it was a surprise it was black and not a decal covering the white.

    Two and Two Eco trim levels have a black 3rd steering wheel spoke. Three and up have the decorative pearl white plastic piece.
