Ding dong.....

    OK me and my friend were driving the car with the radio off all of a sudden as were driving out of the consul came a ding dong just like a door bell there's no warning lights on our phones were off I can't imagine where it came from I can't find anything on it does anyone have a clue it's going to drive me nuts till i know.
    Definitely came out of center console please it's driving me crazy.

    When the low fuel warning light blinks on there is a very subtle audible announcement. Only does it once. Could this be?

    I found the answer by doing a Google search I had marked a place on my navigation as a place I come too often in my address book someone had said that even if you're not using your navigation it will ding dong when you're close to that area which I was

    I have the music box sound notification set for when I approach home and work. I've had my '14 for 2.5 years and just found this feature last month! Being a music educator, I like the jingle! Now my husband wants ME to find out of his premium nav on his 15 C has the same feature.

    Yeah it's the navigation system. There are 3 options - Chime, Door Bell and Music Box. The Door Bell sound has an option to make it directional (so only when you approach from one particularly direction)

    I could see it chiming to say "hey there's that Krispy Kreme place you like so much" but chiming when you get home? if you're that far gone you shouldn't be driving
