You can throw a Corolla one in the trunk from a junk yard. Suspect the donuts are cheap. Like $12 a dozen for glazed.

Got a question I just got an 2016 Eco Two with no spare. I had a 2012 prius the dealership always told me not to put any liquid on the tired cause can damage the sensor on the tired. Now what do I have the pump with the liquid. Any one has a feedback on Toyota why they now are ok with the liquid??

there are conflicting reports. some say it will ruin the tyre and tpms, some say no. it may depend on the type of liquid. i prefer to have a spare, the procedure for liquifying the tyre ain't no easier than slapping a new tyre on. in fact, i think it's more difficult.

Agreed with you comment. I had a few flat before. I even put four new tired on my 2012 prius and a nail went in sideway which I had to get a new tired anyway. Spare is always better.

DW got a flat in her 2012 PiP with no spare. I rescued her with the spare from my 2005 Prius. No issues at all. The only light that came on is the (!) TPMS. The spare had only 20 PSI in it when it should be 60. Luckily, I have a portable pump.

Who said thay got a new doughnut for $125??????????
I will be calling a tow truck as it is covered.:mad::mad::mad::mad:

Quality plug kit may work. Do not buy the cheap ones as the stabber breaks off.

Dealer quoted me 122 for the rim and 225 for the tire.

Used? Didn't someone mention (another thread) that a Corolla rim/tyre is the same diameter as a Doughnut?

Yeah I remember receiving quotes in the $200-$300 range for new which is why I stopped looking. A full size steel rim and tire can be had for a tad over $100 from tirerack

I texted them but they lied the whole price was 387.00 I shown them the text and they told me it only the tired. If you ask for a spare tire price . It mean with the rims too. This is crazy . I am going by the manual it said spare T125/70D17 98M will look for this size for my 2016 Eco two. If any one has a better ideal pls I am open. They would not even tell the size of what I needed.
