I went to a local dealer and placed an order for a three with ATP.
With CostcoAuto, they knocked off $1600 below invoice price, and that was a month and half ago. While for order updates, I checked CostoAuto website again --- Now the discount has become $1800 off invoice!
I think anyone thinks the discount is a fixed number, and it's not!

While this message doesn't matter for those who pulled quick trigger, it might be helpful for those who orders the car like I did. That means deeper discount at delivery.

I got $2500 off with the Costco Program. The dealer did tell me that the discount fluctuates daily. I wonder how they figure out what the discount should be day to day?

Edit to add: This was in May of this year.

That's a great deal, but I am confused if it beats the Toyota discounts at the dealer

The Costco auto buying program website specifically states that the actual dealership sets the final price, and the actual purchase price cannot be found on the website...

You have to go to the dealer they send you to or at least go to a dealer that is affiliated with the Costco plan and they are supposed to print out or show you an official sheet with actual pricing.

So I'm wondering how you checked online and noticed the change in pricing? When I log into Costco it only showed me the invoice pricing and like I said above refers you to the dealer.

Oh, and I was told that my region is $1000 under invoice and that's what I paid minus the 2k rebate..

Further, where I ended up actually buying my car I mentiond the Costco plan and that's the pricing I got but they never even asked for my Costco card ..the first dealership did and I went through the whole process but they low balled me on my trade...

Dealer had something like 45 Prii on the lot. They game me the discount without even showing a COSTCO card.

How much was the discount? With Costco, you get a discount and you also get the dealer incentive.

I have never had any luck with the Costco program. Over the past several years I've tried it a few times and the prices I get quoted are always higher then going through a regular Internet sales person.
