    Hello,

Love my new car, but need to carry my kayak. I can't find a factory or aftermarket rack for the 2016 Prius Two Ecp. Let me know if you know of one that works.

Came up with zero products for the 2016 Prius Two Eco. Are you searching for a different year or model?

    Very easy search.[/QUOTE]

Nope, Thule's search says there are no products for the GIV Prius. Foldable kayak? ;)

There is a rack in the PriusChat Shop. But I am not sure if it is available. The listing says it's "OEM."

Is the P4 Eco so much different from the Prius 2016?

Yes, you get less peace of mind since there is no spare. ;)

How did you find the Prius Two Eco? I went to about 4-5 dealerships in Texas, searched online, none of them have a prius 2 eco in stock.

Prius code of conduct requires removal of the ECO badge if adding a rack. ;)

Oops, missed that. I've added a full size spare tire with my Eco, definitely violates eco weight requirements, will remove eco badge soon.thanks

Keep the Eco badge. Nobody but you needs to know your spare tire puts the car over the Eco weight limit. You'll drive a lot more relaxed knowing you have one. And if I get a Two Eco, I'm following suit. No spare tire in a car to me equates the likelihood of a really BAD day or worse, NIGHT, stranded on a miserable highway and finding out the HARD way that that nifty tire repair kit it has instead of a spare is actually rather worthless.

Truth be told, I plan on getting a donut spare for my Eco at some point (and won't be removing the badge).:)

I think Toyota made a mistake with the tired kit. The liquid cost 129.00 you can only used once the spare would have been cheaper.

Unless they figure on making more money when folks need to buy replacements.

In Canada all 2016 Prius levels still have a spare, except the top level with an optional tech package. I'm not sure what their rational is in the 'States. If it's some fuel economy ceiling, I think the regulations/requirements in Canada are similar? Not sure.
