Please post information about your ownership experience. Some questions to think of...

    1) Did you replace the HV battery pack?
    2) Did you replace the hybrid transaxle fluid?
    3) Did you replace the brake pads?
    4) Your lifetime MPG (if available)?
    5) How often do you change your oil? What brand / product did you use?
    6) How about post a picture of 300,000 miles on ODO?
    7) Are you the original owner?
    8) How many miles under your ownership?
    9) Feel free to add anything else you wish to share[/QUOTE]

Just joined the 299,999 club in my 2005 Prius...Toyota corporate people said there was no recall or free remedy. I have had a few repairs in 10+ years: both front axle bearings, a/c compressor, water pump and timing belt, but my original brakes have plenty of pad due to the braking gear feature to slow the car down. Anyone have suggestions on getting the odometer reset or replaced at a reasonable cost ?

I just broke into 300k+ driving home from relatives house at Christmas. Now around 301,500. I'm not the original owner, I bought the car around 218k in 2012. Previous owner was very up on maintenance.
    1) original HV
    2) PO did replace the coolant. I will again soon.
    3) original pads near 6/32. Original shoes in the rear but new hardware because the adjusters were rusted. FALSE! going through old records today I found the PO did front pads at 148,000.
    4) recently near 44 MPG but I drive pretty aggressively and cruise around 70 MPH.
    5) every 15k Mobil 1 Synthetic, High Mileage if Walmart has it. Change the Fram filter every time the service light comes on (7500).
    6) took a photo but now I can't find it on FB or Drive. I'll take a minute on my laptop to dig for it later.

Just hit 299,999 last weekend (2004 model). Was quite disturbed that it didn't roll over after that (having not seen the threads here about the 300000 problem).

    1) Did you replace the HV battery pack?
    No

    2) Did you replace the hybrid transaxle fluid?
    No (that I know of)

    3) Did you replace the brake pads?
I've had 3 or 4 new sets of discs, and got new pads each time.

    4) Your lifetime MPG (if available)?
I stopped recording at about 150k, MPG=57.3, but then moved to hilly Scotland where I manage 5-10 mpg less than I did in England.

    5) How often do you change your oil? What brand / product did you use?
Full change every 10k miles, but it's now drinking a gallon or so between services. Any brand that's available at the time.

    6) How about post a picture of 300,000 miles on ODO?
Stuck on 299999 - I was poised to take a picture, but kept driving and driving and driving, and it never happened.

    7) Are you the original owner?
No - previously owned by Toyota GB dealer training.

    8) How many miles under your ownership?
    298796

    9) Feel free to add anything else you wish to share
I've had a few collisions - 4 or 5 deer strikes and one scrape with a car on a snowy slope - so I'm on my third or fourth front bumper. Apart from semi-regular replacement of the brake discs (probably a common issue for vehicles kept near the coast and without much brake use), the only notable mechanical failure is the clock spring ("spiral cable") that I had replaced last year (it started failing more than 5 years ago, but I could live without the illumination, and later without the A/C buttons - but airbag warning light is an MOT test failure...).

Wow, I finally made it! Actually my wife put on the final 500 miles thereabouts, I took it to about 299,500,

    2) Did you replace the hybrid transaxle fluid? Yes at 289,092 also changed the front left wheel bearing at the same time
    3) Did you replace the brake pads? brakes at 196,592; front and rear shocks at the same time;
    4) Your lifetime MPG (if available)? 43 MPG, first 4 years driven just to grocery and as a soccer dad, last 8 50+ mile commute on 280 or 101, now second car like 95% San Francisco streets only.
    5) How often do you change your oil? What brand / product did you use? every 5,000 at the dealer, I don't even know what brand
    6) How about post a picture of 300,000 miles on ODO? <I put one on dropbox but PChat doesn't seem to like!
    7) Are you the original owner? YES, since 4 miles
    8) How many miles under your ownership? All ... to infinity and beyond!
    9) Feel free to add anything else you wish to share? Water pump twice, 133,958 and 160,562; 5 sets if tires OEM = 28K, Michelin X-Radial DT 49K, 70K, 71K, 70K, 64K, currently running on Michelin defender XT, Usually inflated to 40PSI all around

    Now I drive a 2016 Chevy Volt, it's too small, I'm putting a deposit down on a Tesla Model 3 March, 2016!

It's been a while since I have been on the forum, here is a little review of my car...
I bought my Prius brand new April (20th?) 2008.
I have not replaced either of my batteries, both are original.
I have replaced my fuel pump (probably the most expensive repair), water pump ,wiper motor, catalytic converter (got a good deal from my most favorite mechanic), blower motor and several front wheel bearings. The wheel bearings are still blowing my mind, most have been covered under warrantee but they seem to go out to often, anyone else have the same problem?
Anyway got my oil change today and the mileage was at 487842, hoping to top half a mil before I trade it in (It will not be worth a dollar for trade) for another Prius.

I forgot to mention, my average MPG has to be 52+, milage is defiantly better in the summer than the winter. My Prius looks like crap from several mishaps but I have no problem parking her anywhere I want without worrying about more dents.
I will take images if anyone desires.

Just searching the forums after a long absence, 680,000 is a new goal for me and it's amazing.
I don't think I can reach it, just want to see how far I can get on both of my original batteries.

No, 2 fas 4 u hit 465K miles on his 09 Prius before trading it on for a '12 Prius v wagon. We are also tracking some long-lived Priuses at Lifespan/Operating costs - Prius Wiki - Wikia.

Slightly off topic, but would you mind telling us what you paid for it (the car)? Totally understand if you don't want to.

I have a 2009 Prius with 361,000 miles. I bought it used with 31,000 miles on it. I change the oil every 7,500 miles using 5W30 synthetic. The brake pads have been replaced once and the front rotors had to be replaced due to rust. The traction battery is original and I've replaced the 12 volt battery once. I change the transmission fluid every 100,000 miles and use a K&N lifetime air filter. Average MPG has been around 42. I drive it hard and fast as a bank courier on a timed route. It uses a quart of oil every 1,200 miles and that started after hitting 200,000 miles.

The air conditioning doesn't work at slower speeds due to a leak in the evaporator that will cost $1,000 to fix. So I just bought a 2010 Prius with 130,000 miles for $7,500. It has some slight front bumper damage which is why the price is so low. I'm going to drive the 2010 through the summer and then switch to my '09 when the weather cools down. I'm hoping to hit 400,000+ on the '09. What an incredible machine.

I'd recommend driving the '09 periodically (once a week?) to keep the batteries topped up, and keep the brakes from rusting.

I can't seem to find a thread dedicated to this issue, just mentioned and brought up about it. But my 05 Prius is stuck on 299,999 miles. Toyota Corp. said this is how the car was designed and they can not do anything about it. Has anyone had Toyota recall/warranty/grant work to fix this problem? Or do all of you just pay to have it fixed elsewhere?

    1) Did you replace the HV battery pack? No
    2) Did you replace the hybrid transaxle fluid? yes, at 211,000 miles
    3) Did you replace the brake pads? Front pads every 75k miles. Rear shoes once.
    4) Your lifetime MPG (if available)? 44 mpg: see name :)
    5) How often do you change your oil? What brand / product did you use? Low oil light pops up after 3k miles. Conventional 10w-30
    6) How about post a picture of 300,000 miles on ODO?
    7) Are you the original owner? No
    8) How many miles under your ownership? 220k +
    9) Feel free to add anything else you wish to share. Besides wear and tear parts, I have only replaced the ICE and Inverter water pumps. I can still get 52mpg highway if I drive 55mph..... IF
