My 2009 is showing significant wear on the pads and shoes at 117,000. These are original pads and shoes. Does anyone have any good or bad experiences or recommendations for any particular brand of pads and shoes. Generally I buy parts at Rock Auto or Autozone but recent failure of Rock Auto front wheel bearings after only a year has got me wondering! Any thoughts appreciated.

117,000 miles................is a lot of miles for 1 set of pads.

I recommend you buy the same OEM product

Is that unusual mileage on prius pads and shoes? I think I will stick with the OEM.

The prius is normally pretty easy on pads, that's why it's worth it to go oem when needed. You'll probably only do it once.

I have 140k miles on my 2008 with original brakes
