So I bought a new Gen.IV! But it hasn't arrived yet.

    Hey guys! Long time member here, haven't posted in a while though. I decided to pull the trigger on a Hypersonic Red / Harvest Beige Gen.IV!! I can't tell you guys how excited I am. I feel kind of bad for trading in my 2015 with only 14,000 miles but I'm getting a great deal, and my payment is only going up by $8 a month (yay for 0% for 72 months!) while insurance is strangely going down by $0.50 cents a month.

    I live in Wheeling, WV and am buying it in Columbus, OH. Salesman says it should have arrived today, and if not today, then tomorrow.

    I was indecisive with paint color, trying to pick between Sea Glass which is what I have now on my 2015, and Hypersonic Red. I picked red, and I'm hoping its of decent quality. Also hoping it doesn't get burning hot in the summer sun, but I read somewhere that red isn't as bad as black. I had a red Honda Insight that showed swirl marks like crazy even though I was obsessive over the paint. However the insight had terrible quality paint. It chipped and peeled from just looking at it.

    Congrats and great choice!!! The Hypersonic Red is what enticed me to try my first Hybrid ever!! I love looking out the window at that beautiful car!! BTW - mine is a 4 with Advanced Tech Package.

    I have both my Gen 3 and 2016 sitting in my garage, and I will always prefer to drive the 2016. :D

    Also, I think that red is a beautiful color, but I would have to say the beige is my least favorite. Not that I couldn't get used to it, but is there a special reason you picked it? Maybe due to not being as hot in the summer or something?

    Also, which package/model did you get? I would highly recommend one of the cupholder phone mounts for carrying your phone in the car. I don't like laying mine on the charger tray or putting it in the armrest.

    That was my choice=Red then Sea second.

    None with everything so I got a white and a silver.

    Have seen several older reds in the parking lot and the paint job looks fine. Just 2001 it every 6 months.
    Beige interior looks nice BTW.

    It's a package 2, and I like the beige because it's a nice two-tone, and it's also nice that it's cooler in the summer. It's just a cozy color, especially in winter when it's cold, gray, and gloomy.

    Check this out... While at the coffee shop yesterday editing logs on my laptop, I noticed people walking by my car kept staring and checking it out. I did some major creeping and took some photos of random people checking her out!
