Installation FIAMM EL GRANDE 74100 HORN Gen 4 Prius + VID SOUND

    Sup Guys! I decided to upgrade the horn to a better one. Bought the FIAMM EL GRANDE 74100 for 20 bucks on Amazon. Install is REALLY plug and play, took about 10 Mins. You will need a Socket Wrench 10mm and thats it. Here how I did it on my 2016 Prius 3 with Advance Tech Package.

    Driver Side: Disconnect factory plug and unbolt bottom nut.

    Use the FIAMM NUT to put on the new Horn

    Only used the nuts for the kit.

    Looks pretty easy.... unless I can't fit my hand down in there, or I break a clip trying to reinsert it. :LOL:

    See the air filter box in the upper right corner? Maybe someone can post a video on how to open that. Mine won't move.

    Just practicing, for when it's time to replace the air filter.

    When I unhook the two clips, I can't get it open. I guess there are some hoses you have to loosen or remove?

    Haven't tried but from previous experience with other cars, you are right. You might have to loosen up the hose clamp that is attached to the air box. I'll take a look tonight.

    Un-clip both of the latches on the right of the lid. Lift up on the right side a little, while also moving the lid to the right. The left side of the lid is actually held in place by u-shaped moldings on the bottom of the air box. It just slides out.

    That being said, there's "just" enough room to swap the air filter, without removing hoses / hose clamps. It's tight, but it can be done.

    Why is it, that auto manufactures always seem to put a "beep" horn on smaller cars/economy cars. Just to save money? I want a this! :ROFLMAO:
