2 new Prii sitting at the Dealer in Savannah

The family and I are visiting the in-laws for a few weeks in Savannah (we took the minivan and I'm missing the Prius big-time

My father and I stopped by Chatham Toyota and although they were closed, they had 2 Prii in the side lot (to the left of the dealership) that seemed to be used, maybe Track cars for sale. One was white and one was seaside pearl. The white Prius had the "No Warrantee" box checked (??) and the seaside Prius had the Toyota warrantee box checked. No other stickers on the cars. I don't know if they are spoken for or what. Just thought I'd pass this along.

Hmmmmmmm......

I'm on the 2nd part of my vacation (from my parents in Clearwater back through my wife's parents in Savannah on our way back to Maryland) and my father-in-law had called the dealer about those two Prii. THIS IS HIS RECOLLECTION, NOT A DEALER QUOTE but he said that the Prii were base models and the dealer was aksing $29,900. I hope he is mistaken, but my gut tells me no. This is a free market and I do believe that people should be able to sell their products at the price that they feel the market will bear, but I hope that they can survive any backlash...
