anyone has instruction on how to take out the back seat on a 2016 Prius?
Also, the front I'm sure there are sensors down there...should the negative battery be disconnected before taking them off? Thanks

During the Vegas reveal the Priuschat team managed to yank one off. I believe you just feel with your fingers for the hook points (2?), grab there, yoink up fast and hard.

@Danny , please look into the posting delay issue.

That's been the procedure from the first, in my old Gen 1 it would always pop right out with a good honest yoink.

On this Gen 3 I've lately acquired, I found the hooks were more stubborn. I did succeed in yoinking the passenger side out, after several tries, and crouching down in the back to brace my elbows against things and make leverage.
The driver's side just laughed at all the yoinking I could throw into it.

I eventually wrapped a 1x2 in some cloth, stuck that under the lip of the seat and popped the hook out that way. It pulled the plastic clip halfway out of the floor with it before they finally separated. Then I took the clip the rest of the way out and smoothed the edges with a nail file where it grips the hook ... not enough to really see any difference, but after putting it all back together it's yoinkable now the way you'd normally expect, with the plastic clip staying in the floor where it belongs.

Yes. There are two hooks, one on each side. If you gentle pull up on the front lip of the seat they are easy to locate. I just grab the seat on both sides of the clip and pull up. It should pop free.

It should be the same on all 4th gens, but I'm feeling around underneath the backseat and i can't seem to find any hooks.
Does anyone have this plastic "wall" that's covering the bottom of the seats?

Here's the Gen III removal procedure - May not be exactly the same for Gen IV
