i regularly count on the fact that the gen three window bows out, and i can close the hatch carefully with items taller than the hatch frame.
i thought the double bubble was convex, not concave.

It's got you covered, it's both convex and concave. Two convexes along the sides, and a concave down the middle. Looks like you can position your taller items along the sides, not blocking your view as much out the split hatch windows.....

Edit: Hey, what's that scratch across the fender from the lower rear reflector towards the tire? Crash testing? An image scanned from a wrinkled brochure? an aerodynamic air channeling device? a static electricity generator to help recharge the batteries?

aye, that's better. now, if they can only lower the hatch floor, so the tall items will fit in the first place.:)

Is this just a style choice for the curved nature of the windshield or does it serve a purpose. Does it reduce drag?

So, is the concave piece on the hatch above the Toyota logo plastic or glass? If it's plastic, is it covering a glass window?

It is both style and drag reduction.

The spoiler? I expect that it is plastic, and it is mounted to a crossmember of the hatch frame.

Not the spoiler, the 'window' that is below it. My last 2 priui were glass, but the picture makes it look like plastic.

Reflection of an edge in the background?

Not that little vertical white line, thehorizontal line a long the bottom of the photo. It's a little hard to see unless you zoom in. It looks like a scratch or damage. I was just pointing it out and trying to be funny, and failed.

I think you're right. It appears to be a curb of other divider between the grass and pavement in the reflection.

I don't think it is a scratch, it looks more like a light-colored edge of whatever is in the background. Notice that the darker part of the background matches the light exactly across the reflection.

Now I see it. It does look like grass and edging. Damn optical illusions...and old eyes.

Exactly. I think the vertical white line is a light setup for the shot and then the horizontal jagged line is the edging between the grass and street.

I use FireFox as my default browser, when I tried Microsoft Edge, I didn't get tossed out of the gallery view. So it's probably how FireFox is dealing with the gallery. Can't find a setting for this, though. I'll submit a bug report to Mozilla.

These look like the photos from the AutoGuide page. Are you an editor on that site?
