I also had them change oil and filter, since I drive for Uber and I put some wear and tear on the old girl. I had my tires a bit overinflated, and on their report, they said the pressure was 35. Did they actually let air out of the tires, or do mechanics just fill in the numbers that are supposed to be there anyway? lol

Only way to know is to measure the tire pressure yourself.... that will tell you if they adjusted it or not

Mine were 40psi on purpose. They def deflated them after i left the lot and checked with a digital tire gauge. Surprised they changed the oil though, dealer told me to change it at 10,000 miles

I requested and paid for the oil change, since I drive Uber, and I put lots of wear and tear on it. Probably unnecessary, but I am obsessive lol.

If you don't mind, how much was it to change oil? I won't know for another year since we still have that 2 year free service thingy for oil changes and maintenances

It was $35 or something like that, full synthetic (As Prius requires) including filter (Toyota filter).

I keep my tires 3psi above the recommended pressure and check then monthly. If I don't remember to tell them not to touch the tire pressures when I take my car in for servicing it comes back with the tires at recommended pressure and I have to pump them back up again.

Or check them at the dealership before driving off, ask them to top them off. I've found they'll do it willingly, they're not air pressure Nazis, say like Costco.

And after a few times, maybe they start to see a pattern, realize it's a lot less labour, just leaving them alone.

I'm keeping ours barely higher than spec, and the same value all around, just for convenience. They're low profile 17" though, with 15" I do raise them significantly moderately over spec.

As for tires, doesn't the Two Eco over-inflate on purpose? I am probably going to buy a 2017 Two Eco, so that is cool.

You can set tire pressure on any level where you want.
