It hasn't yet been a week since I brought this Prius C home, but there are annoying "issues".

Minor issues, one thing Pontiac/Matrix did well was the design and installation of multiple well placed storage "cubbies" in the dash and console.

These cubbies stored all manner of items that now don't have a home in the Prius C.

A major homeless item are the Altoid "Curiously Strong" mint boxes.
If we put it in a cup holder....... You can't put a cup in the cup holder!
If we put it on the dash, well the large left compartment on the drivers side has my Sun Glasses, the narrow one next to it is too small for the tin!
If you put it in front of the passenger, it rattles and slides around, not to mention it can be quite a reach to get it.
    The glove box? Too cumbersome.
The arm rest? Too deep and also too cumbersome.

The only valid place for it is in front of the cup holders but the console isn't sized to accept the metal box!
So, you set it in there anyway on edge and it slides around and rattles annoyingly. Sheesh!

I was in the grocery store today and happened to walk down the food storage container isle.
There were these little tiny storage boxes! Packed two each........ I wonder??........

I bought them (they were even on sale! ) and lo and behold they squeezed right in as if they were made for the console!

The mints still set on end, but no more sliding and NO MORE RATTLE!!!

Score one run for the home team!

Now...... Where does all that loose change go????......... Where does my iPhone 5 go? Where do the nail clippers go? So many questions yet unanswered!

genius! i found a licorice container at trader joe's that hangs perfectly inside my center console, but you're right, toyota has let us down with small storage.
i keep my loose change in a felt jewelry bag to keep it from rattling.

Driving today, the plastic containers which were pushed into the console, conforming to the slight curves, would vibrate up while driving and resume their squarish shape.

I took my heat gun and warmed up the containers until they became slightly pliable. I then pushed them into the curved console and let them set until they cooled.

I just took a 30 mile drive and they haven't budged!

    It's a good thing!
