I just hit 12k yesterday. My MPG is about 50. I drive almost all highway and have a lead foot. I see you use DRCC often (from the pic). What's it like to use in LA? I would never trust it there.

I just passed the 2k mark this weekend. The odometer says I'm averaging 58.3mpg. I don't know how to set up the Fuelly, but I want to at some point.

Is it just me or is PriusChat really glitchy? I always get an error message that says I have to wait 30 seconds to post a message. Sometimes I give up.

I love the DRCC... As close to autopilot as I can get for now (was debating on the Model S before I got the Prius but with my driving pattern it didn't really make sense to get a $90k car)

I go against traffic heading out of LA for work so I'm not in stop and go a ton... I've used it in stop and go before and it keep me at the edge of my seat

I just went over 2,ooo miles this weekend. Still going strong with 71.4mpg average. and a high of 84mpg. That is with mostly city driving mostly no air conditioning and mostly only me in the car. I have been posting videos about the car on my youtube channel Wonderful Wandering Topics

Wonder if anyone has hit 30-50K so we can check OEM tire wear?

Talk to me in the fall. I got mine May 1st, and I'm getting the 20,000 mile service done next week. My commute has me putting right about 5000 miles per month on the car.

I'm averaging about 51 mpg, almost all highway, and about half the time with the AC blasting...the commute is generally in the low 50's on the way to work, and the drive home starts off at around 100 degrees and ends in the 50's.

The Toyo tires on my Eco are doing ok...just a ballpark guess at this point, but I'm thinking I might get nearly 40K out of them. We'll see though...I could be way off.

With the temps you report it must be desert highway driving?

It's highway driving, but desert? Nope...just typical California weather patterns. The temperature difference between being right on the coast and a few miles inland can be huge...40+ degrees is not uncommon.

Ok. You and I have the same car and color. My wive drives it 25 miles a day city. We have made a few weekend trips in it. I like this car. It has 3000 miles so I changed the oil last night it. The oil and Fillter did not show a need for it visually. Amazed how many miles more you have traveled owning a month longer. At least you are in the most efficient non plug in right.

I used to be stationed in California. So are you driving from the coast to fort Irwin everyday? Trying to visualize the route you are taking assuming you are currently AD. I don't know how to send private messages.

11,500 miles, Fuelly says 66.2 UK (55 US) mpg since I picked it up. The car cheekily guesses 70.4 mpg as the lifetime average.
A boring, low tech, slow diesel super mini could only deliver 64.1 UK mpg. A diesel car comparable with the Prius for size and comfort could manage about 48 UK mpg tops. I really love this car!
