Speaking noise from front end

    I am getting a sqeaking noise from what sounds like the right front end of my 2010. It happens consistently when I pull in to our driveway and have to go over the 3" rise or so from the street to the sidewalk level. It also happens often when I come to a full stop on a hill. I recently had the car in to the dealer for an oil change and asked them to take a good look at the suspension and brakes. They didn't find any problems. The service advisor suggested that the sound may be being caused by a rubber bushing on the interior of the strut being "dry". Has anyone had any experience with anything like this

    Struts, sway bar bushing and links.
    Any one or all of those.
    However - it may be a simple fix with the strut. There's a "bumper"...that could get lodged i to the top mount (the bumper SHOULD be resting on the strut boot cover).
    If it's wedged up into the top mount - just get a flat blade and let it out, let it drop back down to the boot cover.
    This happened on my Subaru Outback after taking it off-roading......heard the squeak as I pulled into the driveway, and found the bumper wedged up. 10 second "fix"

    How many miles on it? As miles accumulate suspensions get worn/noisy.



    Just editorial: I think it's possible to edit titles. Or leave as-is, get's your interest, lol.

    Yes, that title certainly did get my attention as I had the same problem.
    I was driving quickly around a corner and also heard a speaking noise from the front , but it turned out to just be the DW yelling about my driving!
