Red Triangle

    I have a second hand Prius 2006, it has 175.000 miles and today happened something strange.

    Today, I was driving on freeway and: Master Alarm (triangle!) + check engine + VSC + Break.

    The air conditioner blow hot air. Pulled over, powered down. Checked fluids; all fine. Powered up again and drive for the freeway: Triangle! + check engine, no VSC light. In a few minutes, VSC light turn on again.

    When I stop my car for 20 minutes and turn on car, the air conditioner blow cold air for a few minutes and then blow hot air again, and the red triangle is here like a nightmare.

    Please your recomendation, thank you.

    Most likely a inverter pump failure. There was a recall on this a few years back. It'll be a free repair if you have not done it

    You can check by looking at the inverter coolant reservoir, take the cap off and see if there's any movement in the coolant when the car is on. No movement would mean the pump is bad

    You really shouldn't use it, it'll overheat the inverter and the car will shut down and break down

    You can probably drive a few miles in the morning, before it gets too hot
