Hello, I had a couple questions for people who might have used the Carista app to delete the rather annoying constant reverse beeping on their gen IV Prius.

I wanted to use the above OBD reader and just wanted to know if it would be better to purchase the wifi or bluetooth model of the OBD reader?

For reference I currently have a Samsung Galaxy S5 as my main phone.

And lastly is this reader compatible with the Carista App and the Prius Gen IV?

Any answers would be greatly appreciated!

Have you asked your dealer to change from a constant beep...beep... to a single beep? My dealer changed our car for free the other day when I had the 10K service done. That would save you from spending $$ for the device and app. Unless, of course, you want the OBD2 device and app or other reasons.

It works with my cheap ( around $4 IIRC) Bluetooth OBD adapter, no need to buy an expensive one.

It's just a generic one, it says "POWER2" on it . I can't remember if I got it off Amazon or Ebay TBH.
Edit: I think I got it off Amazon,

Not long now, the only downside to getting it so late in the year is that you probably won't see the phenomenal mpgs you can get from it until the summer.

Lol. A for hundred miles round trip planned for the first week in November as well! That would have been a great shake down for a Prius. :D
