Help!

    I can have my Prius in gear but at a stop and the noise is there. When I start the car up in the morning and put it into reverse gear you can hear the low rumbling noise. I hope this helps you determine what the issue is.

    Double check the four exhaust hangers, though exhaust pipe noise is usually "tinnier." Also have the motor and transaxle mounts checked.

    If you can get the noise to occur in inspection mode, it might be possible to pinpoint it from outside the car.

    That sounds like good advice because I do believe it's some type of vibration noise. I will have those things checked out in the near future and let you know the results.
