Having trouble finding any current info on remote start installs. Specifically DBALL with T harness from Amazon.

Not sure which one I have but my car stereo guy put it in for next to nothing. It works with the OEM fob by clicking lock/unlock/lock with little pause between each button press. Engine turns on for the standard 15 min.

I have a Toyota remote starter. I presume a quality aftermarket would use a similar plug-in module (basically all it is) that will start the car if a proper sequence of button presses comes from the fob (Toyota default is to double-press lock then hold lock until the system beeps several times).

    This is very interesting :)

Does it still beep like crazy if the key is not near the car? My fob (lock/unlock) works from far away, but if I stand more than a step or two away from the driver's door it beeps like a psycho.
