    So I have an 04 Prius with a recurring P0A08 master warning code accompanied sometimes by a C1310. When the codes are cleared (or not present) my 12v aux voltage is steady at 15.11V both at the bat and at the fuse box. When the triangle of death apears, it drops down to 13.78V which is what the voltage should be.

    I know what youre thinking; bad 12V bat. Nope. Brand new, load tested perfect, sits at 12.6V when off.
    Is anyone elses Prius shooting out 15V?

    P0A08 = DC/DC Converter Status Circuit
    C1310 = Malfunction in HV system

    It looks like the DC/DC converter has developed a problem.

    From my observation, the highest voltage from the DC/DC converter should be 14.4 V (when the 12 V is completely flat or is damaged) other wise the voltage would be 13.2 - 13.5 V which indicates the 12 V is fully charged.

    Hopefully, others can chip in on where to go from here in terms of troubleshooting and repairing the problem.
