Let me share with you what i did to my Prius Plug In, today...
Nothing.... unless you count returning the Rear Sway Bar, Lowering Springs, Plus (Black) carpet mats and the Plus badge !!
Phil (Parts) and Kathleen(Service) where both GREAT !! Seriously, they could NOT have been more sympathetic and helpful. But the Prius technician(s) apparently looked at the parts and looked at the Plug In and said... "ummmm, this won't work!"
The Plus Performance package is, indeed, for a 2012~2015 Prius. There is ABSOLUTELY NO information or service recommendation that this package can be put on the Plug In model. (Huge Sigh)
I have to admit, i'm feeling a little defeated right now. I even went to the parts department this morning at 7am to inquire about the Plus Performance Wheels $300+ each.... all for naught.

well, I have pretty LED lights in my Prius Plug In !!

I "HAD" to have the Plug In !!

The mats I understand due to the gas door.

The springs I understand due to the extra rear weight of the PHV battery. Although there are others that have installed without issue.

The RSB in not understanding. This will fit the PIP.

I decided to paint my wheels graphite. They were curbed when I got them and didn't like the silver. I didn't want to buy wheels so this was a cheap solution

I wet sanded down the wheels with 800 grit. Then used self etching primer and painted them next. I decided to skip clear coating them since they were shiny enough already. I used something called a flap wheel that attaches to a drill (120 grit) to take the curb marks out of the edges of the wheels.

Swapped the stock license plate lights for some LED-units I found on eBay :)

This replaces the whole lamp and not just the one bulb.
Really improved the look of the rear of the car at night. White LEDs fit the otherwise high-tech LED-equipped rear end better than the stock filament bulbs :)

Installation requires pulling off the plastic interior hatch lining (all sits with plastic pop-off rivets) as well as the outside badge-wearing panel below the window, above the license plate (which sits with a bunch of the same rivets and four 10mm nuts from the inside).

Yes, they exist and work quite well. Annoying for other people in car parks etc though. You could also mount a small auxiliary lamp underneath your rear bumper. Common mod around where I live.

So Very Sorry that I have been absent from posting and replying SFV !!
All I can tell You is that Phil (specifically) spoke to the Prius / Prius PI Mechanic in the back and relayed that conversation to me as "they have no instruction for installation of the PLUS package on the Plug In." I remember Phil referring to the 180 pound difference and different geometry for the Plug In. That's really all I know regarding the springs and sway bar. Needless to say the mechanic would not install either of them. (sad face)
