Their most important accomplishment has been to determine the direction of the Supreme court for a generation.

The Republicans did not hi-jack our country - the Democrats ran inept candidates
    Answers to the above:
    1. lower taxes, increase defense spending, expanded the economy, created jobs, restored respect for us, appointed 2 Supreme Court judges
    2. restoring belief in individual responsbility, prevented liberal judges from attaining power
    3. not a single American innocent civilian murdered since 9/11 on our homeland
    4. no, I am pro-abortion although I am in favor of overturning Roe vs. Wade
    5. not true - but if it were, no I would not be proud of that. Better than cutting defense and intelligence budgets that clinton/algore did for 8 years
    6. so what - neither did clinton/algore/edwards/hillary - what was jfk's and FDR's and Trumans military experience?? The President makes the decision to go to War not on how to wage it - too bad clinton did not pull the trigger as he watched American after American get slaughtered - and now how do you feel about his turning and running from Somalia???????? Another complete mess we have to clean up from clinton which we now add to a nuclear North Korea, a nuclear India and Pakistan - hope he dry-cleaned the Oval Office's carpet

Will this resolve the Liberal question? No it will not. But opens another list of questions or flames against the conservetive public  due to the fact that the liberal way is the only way and all other ways are wrong.. ;)

I say give a state to the libs let them run it the way they see fit for 10yrs and see what happens to the state (good or bad)...

What he said. :D Plus as the news says today "Jobless claims fall more than expected"

    http://today.reuters.com/business/newsArti...-JOBLESS-DC.XML

But these type of classless liberals would rather criticize than offer hope or ideas. Hey BTW how did the Left's canadiate do in former Congressman Randy "Duke" Cunninghams 50th district? Hmmmm. . . If Republican's are so corrupt how did they manage to win again in arguably the most Left Leaning state in the Union?

Priusguy- first you say, "due to the fact that the liberal way is the only way and all other ways are wrong.", implying that liberals don't listen to any ideas but their own; then you post the above. Do you realize how hypocritical you sound? Do you even care?

I just got off the phone with the Middle East. They don't want them. They had several distinct problems with liberal ideology:

    1. They wont terminate life in the womb - liberals will
    2. They wont allow pornography - liberals will
    3. They wont allow women to vote, get educated, drive or show any skin beyond the whites of their eyes - liberals will
    4. They dont believe in affirmative action - why provide infidels with an advantage when they are trying to kill them? - liberals do
    5. They dont believe in death taxes - just death -- liberals tax the dead
    6. They believe in the death penalty - without lengthy hearings - liberals dont
    7. They believe in God - liberals dont
    8. They believe in public prayer - liberals dont
    9. They wont allow homosexuals to marry - liberals will
    10. They believe in armed struggle - liberals surrender
    11. They honor those who give their lives for their God and Country - liberals define those individuals as fools
    12. They will not allow child molesters out of jail - liberals allow them to move back in the community and near schools and playgrounds
    13. They believe in free speech - liberals do only if it is to their advantage

We need to find another location for them :D

I just got off the phone again about where to place our liberals - hot off the presses:

    1. Canada said that once they leave and come to the US of A, they dont want them back.
    2. Mexico said it would be an uneven exchange for the 11 million mexicans that left for the US of A.
    3. Iraq turned them down to for reasons cited previously
    4. China said no - they are not easy to copy and they dont want to waste the time or effort doing so
    5. France said no - they prefer people who hold their own country in very high esteem
    6. Cuba said no - they dont do well in adverse environments
    7. Brazil said no - they wont participate in cutting down the rain forrest
    8. Venezuala said no - they wont help pump the oil
    9. Darfur said no - reasons too obvious to state
    10. Vatican said no - obvious reasons
    11. Iran said no - they are pursuing nuclear power/weapons -- they would be a hinderance there; they said they prefer them in the US of A where they are more useful to them
    12. Haiti was maybe interested in some of them - if you know what I mean
    13. North Korea - thanked them for their services but no longer wants them or needs them
    14. ON HOLD....

You righties are pathetic. That's the best you can do?

Typical, tired, lame Republican talking points....

Face it. You fact hating, lack of critical thinking, chicken hawk, brainwashed, Limbaugh listening, FOX watching neo-cons have ripped this country and the world apart!

There is a growing generation of vigilantes in the Middle East who are going to wreak hell upon America in the next few generations. All because of our ethnocentric cowboy from TEXAS! HEE HAW! Can't blame that one on Clinton.

    -Huge debt

-Tax cuts for the richest of the rich? During a time of war, no less.

    -Constant GOP lies.

-Huge Oil company profits=record prices for regular people.

    -Religion over science.

    -Outing CIA agents.

    -Katrina response failure.

-Gap between rich and poor has become a chasm!

-Countless thousands of innocent Iraqi people dead.
-Nearly 3,000 more dead Americans since 9/11, who knows how many soldiers are coming home missing arms and legs.
For what? Where are these WMDs? More importantly, where's Bin Laden?

-And they say Zarqawi was the #1 terrorist?
No, BUSH is the #1 terrorist in the world.

    Don't forget........you're all christians!

Start thinking for yourself and you'll start voting Democratic.

I voted democratic about 33% of the time over the last 12 years, but you are way off. The Democratic Party is in serious jeopardy of becoming an also-ran party like the Republicans were from 1932-1968. If the Democrats can't take back control this fall when will they? I thought it might happen but after this weeks results in California I don't think so. The party needs a solid message adn some solid leadership.

You should be aware that the district you are speaking of is gerrymandered to a 2:1 repub:dem registered voter ratio, the party funneled five million into the race, and yet the repubs barely kept it.

I don't know how the congressional elections will play out, but that particular race is no solace for the repub party -- talking point based on ignorance aside. But then again, we are talking about a party electorate in which 60% thought WMD had been found in Iraq at the time of the exit polls in the last presidential election.
