first time, long time here. sorry for the ignorance in advance...

got my 2012 prius (2) inspected today and i guess i need new parking lights and then he also said i need a new turn signal lens. he looked up pricing and saw there are 2 varieties, one that was ~$70 and one that was nearly $300. he checked my car to see which i had/needed, and determined it was the more expensive one (amber?)... he advised me to go online and try to find it cheaper. so i could use assistance with both items.
i've replaced the headlights and high beams before (and maybe even the parking lights, i forget), but wanted to confirm i'm getting the right lights for the job.

do these seem right? any other recommendation? long lasting and good but not great is my aim

and then what about this amber turn signal lens? any good links for that? is it really the kind of thing i can do myself (with low-middle ability) or should i just get one cheaper and bring it to them?

any help would be greatly appreciated!

or would these be better? i don't even know if i want white or amber... i'm dumb

it won't let me post the link, but basically amber versions from superbrightleds site

If it's just the bulb, of the amber running light on the side, flagged here:

    It's this:

Same bulb is used in license plate light, btw.

I replaced all the 5W Wedgies and Festoons (15 bulbs) in my 2009 Gen II for $5.99 (see link in above post) I noticed from my records that about 2 years ago, my local Stealer replaced one (1) of the rear-markers (5W Wedgie) for $11 (Go figureā€¦) I do not know about amber, the lens is amber, but the LED bulbs are a cool bluish/white! ;):)

The bulb part number I posted is a plain-Jane clear bulb. I've had to replace (that pictured) one amber marker light bulb, and one license plate bulb, so far.

sadly, the lens itself is cracked i guess, so i assume that means the whole housing needs replaced, hence the higher cost. i just don't really understand the 2 options (and the mechanic didn't fully, either). i could go to toyota for a better understanding of the part needed but the one i've been to around here sucks and i avoid them if at all possible.

i swung by the mechanic and had him give me the okay on the part i found on amazon for the turn signal lens. $100, instead of closer to $300 he quoted. so that's something. it may almost cover the labor costs if i can't make the swap myself...! thanks for the help
