Is it possible to switch front seats from a 2009 Prius to my 2014 Prius v?

I have hated the front seats on my 2014 Prius v seats since day 1. I have terrible problems with two bulging discs in my lumbar for a couple years now, which the seats have made MUCH worse. Now having to work from home due to the extreme pain from driving 45 minutes one way to work.

I had a 2009 Prius (that was killed by a deer) and LOVED the seats. Is it possible to find some and switch them out?

Also, I saw somewhere else here (and cannot find now, as this site is really hard to navigate/search) a post about a class-action suit about the pain caused by the new seats. I didn't even realize it was more than just my problem until I saw that list of posts! Someone replied with a supposed answer, that there was a suit, and there was no link there (anymore?). Toyota has had way too many complaints about this to just blow us off. Any help out there? Thanks.

There should be some sort of suit as I have read tons of complaints all over the net about the headrest and lower back of the seat.

Never read a issue about the back seats. They are more comfortable to us.

Maybe you should just "move on" and buy a vehicle that has seats that fit you.

Lots of people hate the Prius v front seats. I'm one of them but my wife doesn't mind them and I'm rarely in it. Maybe the electrically adjustable front seats are better. Maybe try a 2015-up Prius v with power seats or another vehicle (RAV4?) that has power seats.

It can be depressing to dump a car prematurely and take a financial hit. I've done it only once in my life when I bought a new 1978 Volvo 242DL and soon realized that both my wife and I disliked it - hard to drive (very balky gearshift) and lots of things kept breaking. We "dumped" it after only one year but never regretted it.
