Retrofit High Resolution Screen on 2004 and 2005 models

Has anyone tried to swap or adapt the screen for a later prius. To a prius that has a low resolution screen? To the best of my knowledge, the interface is analog and the newer ones is digital. However, does the swap involve upgrading the radio, the screen? perhaps do you need a special module that needs to be programed by toyota. Has anyone attempted it? Keep in mind that parts can be found at pick a part for a reasonable fee. My car has JBL, Casset, 6 CD and Navigation
