I have a 2015 Prius Four and I'm totally in love, however I have a problem. I noticed this problem near the pedals and I'm wondering if there is something I can use to cover or protect this area since it is prone to scratches. Thanks for your help!

Well it looks like it's already past the point of needing protection.

I would buy a new trim piece, then apply some carbon fiber vinyl, then install it.

It came that way. It's literally the only flaw I've seen. Do I order the trim piece from Toyota?

Take the piece off, find the part number engraved on the inner side off the piece, then enter the part number on Google search and you'll get a bunch of buying options.

Or like you said take it to your Toyota dealer.

No problem. Btw if it wasn't you that did the damage, I doubt you'll need to protect it. The previous owner must have really enjoyed resting/stretching his/her feet on that panel, I mean who does that?
If you know you don't have giant shoes and don't keep your for in that area I doubt you'll scratch it. Good luck

It was the previous owner. They only had the car for 9 months and put 7k miles on it. It's a 205 Prius Four and I got it for $18k. I feel like I got a pretty good deal if that's the only issue. Right?

Thanks, Bisco! So far I love it. I got a whole set of barely used weathertech liners including the cargo mat on eBay for less than the cost of the new cargo mat. It's all going swimmingly except for that on scuff area.

I'm not exactly sure what to use. I mean who would have their feet way over there in the first place?

From what I can tell in the picture, there are scratches and dirt on that panel.

One, I'm sure the dirt can be cleaned off, not a problem.

Two, the scratches are scratches. I personally wouldn't be able to live with them knowing they are there. For that reason I would just buy a new panel. That's just me. Good luck

There are black scuffs. I thought I could get rid of those with magic eraser.

WD-40 and a Terri-cloth. It will clean off the scratches and leave a smooth dark finish.

Don't spray it on the panel, directly. Just spray a small amount on the cloth and wip it away.

Thanks for making that clear! I have to go get some WD-40 tomorrow. Will a microfiber do? I have a ton of those.
