I think I just have vents under the front seats facing rearward.

Do you think the gauges in the Corolla Hybrid would work for @Bill the Engineer on his Prius v based Firebrid project? The original Firebird had round gauges. He tries a Lexus hybrid gauge but could not interface it with the Prius v.

I guess it's possible - the other possibility is the RAV 4 Hybrid you get in USA (not here).

I'll look into it! Anybody have the part number of that Corolla Multi-function Display shown in the earlier post?

UK gets the RAV 4 hybrid as well. Test drove one about ≤10 miles and found it really nice. Thought about placing an order to replace CRV, but changed my mind back to Prius. The shall I, shan't I dilemma only lasted for a day!

Not sure - it's only just been released here - but I think it has been in Europe for a number of years (called something like Auriz?). But you might get a RAV 4 part from the Wreckers seeing they've been in USA for a number of years and has sold well I understand. You have a larger SUV hybrid too, I think.

True. The Prius is the first Toyota with automatic S-Flow. I suppose other Lexus models that have S-Flow require the driver to select the mode.

I always wondered if someone might try using the Scion IM dual climate module in their prius what might happen. Here are the backs out of the two, the one below is the Scion IM 16 module im.jpg

s-l1600 (1).jpg From the Gen 4 Prius: It appears from the above pictures one might be able to swap out the snap on exterior between the two. I'm not really interested in taking apart my dash but might have to do this swap if it works for someone else.

Why do you think they would be compatible? Because they both have an RJ45 connector?
Does that mean you could plug in a network switch or PC and expect it to work? I seriously doubt it.

Aren't they both built using the TGNA architecture? You might be correct, they may look similar but might be built totally differently as far as programming is concerned.

The Gen 4 Prius was the first TNGA car so the iM is not TGNA, at least not yet.
I thought TGNA was mainly chassis, not electronics.

I doubt that that panel would work correctly, given that the functions aren't identical.

TNGA is just a platform. The iM is essentially an E180 Auris, which is now five years old. I would expect the next Auris, like most FWD-based Toyotas, to migrate to TNGA.

I'd suspect that if you put the other module in, the computer would say something polite like "Pardon Me, that's not mine".

Though, Computers tend to have their own terminology - "MALFUNCTION - WHOLE CAR".

I find this thread rather interesting. Are you looking for dual-zone A/C in your 2016 Prius? This is a standard feature in the model that is supplied in this country. Note the bottom right-hand button on the A/C control unit.

So the option does exist for the Prius.

The US cars may not have the correct software for that. Is your car left-hand drive or right-hand drive? It would be interesting if somebody could get the part from a wrecked Prius to try in the US. I would test on a Three or Four first since we know the Two & Two Eco only have the basic Entune system.

More is not better -- would be interesting to know what the savings are with this new system vs the gen3. All of my cars have had climate control for the past 30 years -- the only ones that have been annoying are the multi position ones. All the Lexus come with them -- in larger cars they don't matter as much .. but in small cars the other outlets are too close and too little air to heat/cool

At least the Denso units have proven to be trouble free -- can't say the same for the german systems.
