Anyone know of a Sprint phone that works with the Prius that will show the battery and signal meter on the display. I can't find one that is supported.

You need a phone that supports all the OBEX profiles - sadly only the Treo and the 6700 do that.

Thanks for the tip. I understand that Sprint has two new Bluetooth phones on the way: LG LX350 and Nokia 6165i. I believe that the Nokia supports all Bluetooth services, but you never know until it is for sale.

The nokia is right now a big IF. Sanyo and Nokia announced last night that they are merging together for their CDMA products.

If I remember correctly, after you have input the pin you will have to choose the device from tools/bluetooth on the phone (probably already there) and select connect. Then it should be complete and the Prius should acknowledge that the phone is connected. Good luck!

I am having some issues getting out of speed dial mode on the touch screen when trying to make a call. How do I just punch in a number without jumping to speed dial from the call button? Any suggestions before I read the manual again. I have the Samsung A 900. I was also wondering if I manually enter the phone book in the Prius will it recognize the calls or label them unsupported?

In motion, speed dial is the only touch option avaiable. You should be able to use the voice command to dial by number. After you give that command, it should switch to the dialpad screen and then you can press voicecommand again to speak the number. Unfortunately their is no stock way to enter the number while in motion (except on your phone).
