we have a 2008 Prius (from new) that has the right side radio button stuck in. Before I pull things apart I thought I would ask if anyone on this forum as had a similar issue. I did a bit of searching but did not find anything usable.

Some questions someone may be able to offer answers to...

Is it possible to just replace the radio fascia?

Do you need to get a replacement radio coded to fit a car?

You might want to reply what you've already tried to get it to pop back out. Just in case, I know it's dumb but have you tried pushing in the button to get it to pop out.

Yep - it's stuck all the way in.

Mine is also stuck, but turns easily by pushing my thumb against it and twisting.

Found a replacement unit for under $50 so maybe that's the way to go. It has clean fascia and looks to be in good order.

Do you have to get the units re-coded?

There are no codes. Besides, aren't you going to use your unit with the new fascia?

Probable if it all comes apart - not pulled a Prius apart yet :)

But I now have spanners and a screw driver so here we go....
