    Got up to work this morning something was telling to look at the front of the car . I found this. I have no ideal how it happened.

    Get some touch-up paint to help mask the gray spot; some of it might buff out.

    all the best man!(y) a decent body shop might be able to do something cheap to make it nearly invisible.

    I assume that's on the flexible bumper bar - it could be worth checking behind for more damage, or broken mounting clips.

    I had someone hit my rear in a previous car, left 2 tiny pock marks much smaller than that - but the repairer suggested "look under here" - and the bumper reinforcing bar was all bent up. What was going to be a $50 "touch up" was about $1500 repair. I probably wouldn't have worried except I was in the process of selling the car at the time, and it had been inspected without the "minor" damage.
