Adjust dash readout overall mileage reading?

    If you used fuelly or something similar and zeroed out the average MPG reading, you could document the real MPG and not have to worry about what a slightly inaccurate reading showed.

    Solved my own problem - Reread manual, p201, "Average fuel consumption": cycle with TRIP button (steering wheel) until overall mileage is displayed (in my case about 56K) and also displayed is my bogus 46.3mpg ave for 10s of 1000s of miles. Instead of holding down TRIP button (as I do to "0" the mpg for odos A & B) one has to hold down DISP button for over 1 second and the mpg goes to "0". I did that today and will see where it settles over time. If it settles above 44mpg, then I will know from my calculated mileage that there is something wrong with the computer.
