How many of these problems are specific to features only on the Advanced version and not present on the Premium version?

For example, does the Premium's lesser stereo not connect via Bluetooth to an iPhone (calls or audio)? Can Premium get address book content from an iPhone (and does that function fail on the Advanced)?

You mentioned voice-recognition concerns, are they limited to the Siri-integration feature, or are the same problems present for Toyota's own voice-command system (hmmm... Does Premium have non-iPhone-related voice commands)?

Other than price difference is there a reason why I would not want the big screen?

Yes you can use siri. Hold the phone button down for a few seconds and siri activates. Its in the manual. Always assume what the dealer tells you is wrong...ALWAYS

Yes, actually, having a working personal digital device in this economy is more important then the car. And if you will give me $36K I would be happy to sell it. (hint, I paid less then that).

Could well be an apple issue. But Toyota needs to explain why. Often its because short cuts in coding here made that now are exposed by Apple latest implementation. And if that implementation is backed up by adherence to the specification outline for the bluetooth spec then Apple is right, or vise versa

Possibly true. But I use this same phone in a Airplane, integrated to a Garmin ads-b transponder for navigation, weather and traffic (aircraft) advisories. It works perfect there. One suspects Garmin must be exceedingly careful in aviation integrations. Toyota?

    Yes, 7plus

Any issues with Pandora, iHeartRadio, and so forth?

Everybody has their own priorities. I do not buy cars based on my cell phone.

Hey Dan ... for the life of me I cannot find it in the manual. It doesn't seem to be indexed. Can you please share the page number? Thanks

I have the same problem on my advanced model. Make a call using Siri and the music keeps playing and call doesn't connect through speakers (but call connected). Also when I try using Siri eyes free, it immediately disconnects. Any solutions for this problem yet? How do I do a soft reset? I'll call the dealership today.

My Advanced has worked out pretty well with Siri Eyes Free using my iPhone 6; though, on a recent drive, I wasn't able to hear the audio of the phone call through my car speakers. When I finally turned off my car, then back on again, it worked again. So far, this has only happened to me once in my one month of ownership.

Apple has responded to my bug report with a request for detailed logs, which I have provided. I urge all to report problems to Apple and to Toyota.

We ARE beta testers. Shouldn't we get a T-shirt or something?

Tried to report, but you have to be a developer. Please keep us informed. Also seems like it's a problem only when I use Siri button.

How about because you spent $36,600.00 you shouldn't need to get in between a pissing match between two companies that obviously don't want to work together?

This to the detriment of their paying customers.

I knew early on that this was the case, so I installed an aftermarket deck in my Prius.....best decision ever. That said, it shouldn't be this way when you spend thousands and thousands of dollars.

No relief to any of the mentioned issue with Apple latest release, 10.2.1. Bluetooth audio still skips, Siri activation iffy. We really need Entune to release some big fixes

The entune app is and always has been garbage. We use Android Auto and don't have any problems. And that's not a dig at Apple. But the entune app just sucks.

Hmmm... I got the impression that the P.Prime supports neither Android Auto nor CarPlay).

Android Auto supports being used directly on the device without connecting to the car, so maybe that's what Swauger meant.

Yes! You are using the device to do all of the work. The audio just comes out of the speakers via bluetooth.
