Electronic "Master" key...can they be bought after-market?

    I would like a 3rd extra one, but I don't feel like paying whatever the dealer wants for one, because I know it's too much! Does anyone know of an aftermarket source and how much they might be? What about programming it? I asume it needs to be programmed.

    I think if you buy it from anyone except Toyota, you're buying a used fob. I also believe that Toyota must do the programming to match it to your car.

    There are quite a number of threads on this topic. Do a search for "extra key" and see what you can find.

    EBAY IT then you will have to take the original remote and your used one and the car to any Toyota dealer to program it ,could cost form 0 to 50?

    forgot to mention that I have bought several brand new remotes off Ebay for $125. to $150.
