Hi all, this is our recent purchase! Now we own 2 prius's! Very happy! This one has the gps that we wanted all along. Question is can the gps be updated as it is 9 years old? The dealer stuck ugly black rubber truck mats in it,,,, :( Where do we find nice fresh toyota mats? Thanks for any info!

You can likely get mats from the dealer, but they may be less expensive online. I ordered my Toyota all-weather mats from a Toyota dealer on Amazon.

You may find the Toyota GPS lacking. My son uses a Garmin GPS with his 2015 Prius v. He tried the Toyota GPS and found he had better results with the standalone unit Many people use their phones instead of the GPS.
I believe the Toyota updates are quite expensive too.

    Just food for thought.

We don't bother with the Toyota GPS either. We picked up a Garmin unit with free lifetime maps and traffic for less than half the price of one Toyota update. Much better and easier to use.

Congrats weather tech is awesome matts. You can order online it would probably be cheaper than the dealer. Amazon has some noce ones an it co.es with the trunk mat so if anything spills you battery wont get damaged.

I did a little research and found you can get the update on a dvd through ebay. My son just did his and
is very happy with it. Looks like it will cost around 45. Also have to have a second key fob made by
the dealer, not happy about that. But love the car! :)

Unless it is a Toyota dealer selling on eBay, I would be wary.
Toyota only officially distributes updates through their dealers.
