I was thinking of buying the NEW Dice unit supplied by DICE and Dension in the US.

    Anyone using one ?

    Is it any good ?

How does it compare to the Vais Tech unit ?

You may want to read the DICE group buy thread, as it should answer some of your questions. There is even a comparation between the DICE and VIAS. I have a 2005 #6, which has the NAV and JBL, and the beta testing shows that the DICE works with that model. I'm planning to get it when the testing is done.

FWIW, I've been using the VAIS SLI product in my 2005 Prius for a few months now, and it works very well. The features are virtually identical to the DICE unit, except they seem to handle playlists a little differently. The VAIS unit is more expensive (US$299 when I bought it), but it is available NOW.

So's the DICE (for the 2004-2005 anyway) for $135.15.

Well I called DICE (Dension USA) and I found out that they are located in Long Beach, CA (about 30 mins from where I work), so I drove up there at lunchtime and bought a unit.

I installed whilst I was there in the car park in 10 mins and all is working great !

They even offered to help me install (and their was no mention of cost for doing so !)

$173.10 out the door, but I did not see the posting showing the cheaper price above until after, besides I am impatient, so waiting a few more days would have killed me.

I'm glad it works! I just ordered mine. Heh, 30 minutes after my first post on this thread, Danny made the announcement.

Now to get an iPod, :)
