pjbtk, Thanks for adding your info. However, someone moved the Freeze Row and when I corrected it, you line disappeared. Can you add yourself again. Thanks.
Has nobody suggested Fuelly - Track and Compare your MPG ? Toyota Prius Prime MPG - Actual MPG from 5 Toyota Prius Prime owners
Have a look at the sticky in the Gen1 Prius plug-in forum and you will see this one can develop to database Fuelly can't match.
The only problem is our cars do not record the charge and over half of the free chargers have no meters ... they blind headed. So unless someone spends extra money to track the charging, we're all pretty much SOL for kWh. With one exception. I am running a week on just EV using a combination of home and free chargers. This means at the end of the week I can report the miles EV and 'reverse engineer' the kWh. It is by no means precise but 'close enough' for our purposes. Bob Wilson
Yes, with the PiP we have 'EV Ratio' summary display (giving EV miles and kWh, HV miles and gasoline gallons - since reset. It seems this is missing with the Prime. Add to this the fact that miles with no ICE in HV mode are tracked down as EV miles...plus possible 'charge mode' adding more...it seems Toyota wants owners to look at 'raw' mpg, period!?
bad pub for toy, makes no sense. not gonna come close to the epa. i wonder if someone had a 'senior moment'.
No clue how to adjust the data in the cells I inputted to be centered like the rest, so my apologies. Also on the second tab does the Miles column equal odometer miles or miles traveled on a tank? Thanks..
In your fuelly stat page, below the logbook, there are some links. Bottom center one says, "badges." Click that and it will give you several options that you might want to use in your signature here. Edit to add: The only drawback with fuelly is that they don't have a way to account for electricity.
Yeah. It's been a while since I did it, but Fuelly provides a couple of bits of code that you can put in your signature here. It takes longer to figure out how to do it here I found; just keep plugging away at every one of your personal links, sooner or later you'll get it. Then, they see your fuelly average, and it's a link too I believe: clicking on it they see your public page at fuelly.
Good point, @Mendel Leisk . I forgot to mention that it is a bit of a pain in the patootie. But trial and error should eventually pay off.
Not quite sure how to handle seven days of pure EV so I took a swag: tripmeter showed 301 miles used EPA "25 kWh per 100 miles" 3 * 25 ~= 75 kWh I'm open to suggestions. To avoid a divide by zero, I used a very, very small amount of gas. Bob Wilson
Okay ... I'll top it off; reset trip meter; burn warm-up, and; another week of EV. Then I'll top it off. Any guess of what it'll be. Bob Wilson
thanks - just updated my sig with fuelly - it's nice to see how much we are saving over our previous gas guzzlers
