Probably couldn't hurt. Would be great if that's all it is.

Well the battery in my car is over 7 1/2 years old so I'll see what happens after I charge it and test it.

On other thing I noticed is that my brake pedal is 'squishy' compared to normal when I pressed on it to try and start the car. It seems to go farther down than normal, slowly, mushily. (that is a real word!)

How much was that? I've always gone to the dealer here out of paranoia, but I might look up a Prius/hybrid mechanic out here in L.A.

Thanks. Saw that relay when I was checking out the fuses. Was that expensive?

UPDATE: Charged the battery for the last 6 hours and the car started! Going to borrow my neighbor's car in the morning to go buy a new battery.

Should it be okay to wait until Monday or Tuesday to get a new battery? I can save a little money if I get if from Amazon, not sure it's worth it though if it's going to be problematic.

Now to make sure I know what I'm doing to change it! Do I need to disconnect anything other than the 12v battery terminals? Seems pretty easy. And I read where I might have to retrain my power windows?

keep the charger on it, and you'll be fine.

    i remember under $200

    Relay - Toyota (82641-47040)

the wiring diagram from 2010 to 2011-15 are totally different . it seems a flaw was found in the 2010 and corrected with a different wiring in 2011 and fixed with a different relay for 2010 cars . either way never saw the message again

glad to hear a battery solved your problem . def did not solve mine lol
