MFD replacement compatibility question for base model

Hello everyone and thank you in advance for any input on this issue.

I am about to pull the trigger on an MFD model #86110-47230 (the price on this used unit was significantly discounted out of generosity by the seller as a personal consideration but it hasn't shipped contingent on it being compatible or not). The correct model for my vehicle though would be either: 86110-47081 or 86110-47080 (basic package) as listed in the following post: Blue tooth after the fact | PriusChat

I've read here in PriusChat that upgrading the basic model to Navigation or Bluetooth is not cost effective because of the GPS antenna, the amp under a seat, this and that, but even if I don't ambition to connect a camera to this MFD, will the other basic functions work? i.e. could I replace an 86110-47081 or an 86110-47080 (base model) with a 86110-47230? (this is an MFD equipped to interface with a backup camera and 6 speaker system only for 06-09 Priuses). Will the harnesses connect normally and will I have all functions (A/C, Trip info and so on) with the exception of the camera input issue or should I just cancel the order? The deal is a one lifetime deal btw.

P.S. My cousin upgraded to a double din unit to replace his JVC KD-R760 and is giving me the JVC as a gift! My neighbor offered to install it so when I saw the stealth aftermarket install guide videos I noticed that it being a major undertaking it might as well be worth to take the effort to also change the MFD (it is unreadable during the daytime as it is totally orange and faded).

Any ideas on this?
