key fob cases??

Good to know because it's a matter of time before I do that. The case was like $2. By far the cheapest of the other unnecessary purchases I made in the first two weeks of having a new car.

 

Just make sure after remote is washed, take it apart ASAP , take the battery out and dry the internals -

I could have sworn I found something on ebay (or amazon), but I can't find it now. I don't think it was listed for a prius, but it looked like it would fit our fobs.

 

I have not seen any covers except the Chinese ones. The shipping was not any problem and not expensive.

New to this forum. Recently gotten my 2016 Prius. Sadly I've only gotten the lower end model. Mine does not come with all the high-tech features like park assist, DRCC, HUD etc etc.

Anyway, I was wondering whether anyone has any luck finding a leather fob holder for the Prius 2016? I do not want the zip version which I find to be quite bulky.

I want something like the " Amooca 2-buttons Leather Luminous Car Smart Remote Key Fob Holder Case Cover Fit" from Amazon.

A pity it has the RAV4 logo else I would have gotten this as the layout is the closest to the Prius's fob

I ended up buying from aliexpress since it was only $2.60 and someone had posted pics of the prius logo on the back.

I just ordered a pair of silicone covers. Thank you to the user that posted that. Can't really beat 6 dollars and some change to protect Fobs that cost hundreds of dollars to replace! Good investment.

Holy mackerel. The fob in those photos look like it's big enough to be a TV remote!! Is the 2016 fob really that big or does the photographer just have hands that small?

 

He has small hands. Mine covers about the same amount of my palm.

 

It's silver. I just added a filter to the picture. Lol thank you though. Lol
