IMG_7822.JPG I noticed something that makes me worry about software integrity. For a few seconds, after I complete a call via the handsfree system, a menu from the 11.6in screen is displayed in the 4'2" screen on top of the dash. I am consistently able to reproduce this and I am pretty sure that it's not a "feature". I was able to snap a pic. Sorry about the quality, but I was driving and focusing wasn't a priority. Any ideas?

I'm pretty sure I saw a Toyota YouTube video mentioning that this was very much intentional, to help us keep our eyes on the road.

I am not sure what the purpose would be to show a menu which cannot be used.

My understanding is that the "quick menu" (swipe up from the bottom) shows up on the MFD as well, to keep you eyes from dropping down too far from the road.

Look at around 6:06 in that video I cited.

Think of it as kinda like a (computer) mouse: You manipulate stuff down on the 11.6, but you see those manipulations on the MFD.

I think when you got the home button, that pops up also on the mfd

Huh?! I guess it's a feature, but it's the first time I noticed it. On the positive side, there is a video link between two screens and that opens up some possibilities.
