2010 Prius Hitch Receivers and Bike Racks

Thanks all. Decision made and orders placed. Curt Hitch and 1UP USA Single Quick Rack Silver with a Quick Rack Add On Silver. Due here Thursday/Friday...will follow up about installation, impressions and photos then.

 

Update: Hitch arrived Wednesday, opened, did a quick visual and put it aside. 1UP USA Bike Rack/s arrived Thursday and I did the same. Tonight is first day off so took them all out and just finished my thorough inspection to get a handle on installation in the morning. The Bike Rack/s are outstanding quality compared to everything I looked at, but noticed the Hitch did not look like the photos (that happens) even though the eTrailer packing sticker matched the P/N. Problem is the Curt Bar Code sticker P/N was different so I looked it up and...oops...they sent me the hitch for a 2016 Honda HR-V. Will call them at 09:00 to get this fixed. Will need this over nighted because Son leaves Tuesday morning. They messed up, but I messed up to not doing my "thorough" inspection when the items arrived.

 

Well things as they are, the correct receiver/hitch won't be delivered until Wednesday sometime so it looks like our other surprise for the boy's going away got screwed a little. Went ahead and mounted the 1UP USA Rack/s on the old V10 PU so when he gets home in a little while he at least gets to touch, taste, feel and test it for fit with his bikes. I'll just drive out (370 miles round trip) next weekend and put everything together then.

 

Son came back home for a day so I could install the correct receiver/hitch and bike rack/s. Sorry but only have one picture the Wife took before he left. Thanks again everyone for you help on this one. Turned out real good.

 

You can do it either way. This was just a choice I made for practical flexibility, because my Son only carries one bike "most" of the time.
