My rear wiper blade is old. Basically the body shop which repaired the rear end did not replace the wiper blade.... Anyways, I noticed Trico has Exact Fit 11-A listed, but also has an Exact Fit 12-A blade available. This blade is 1" longer. (I noticed the other day that the wiped area is quite small on the rear glass). Has anyone tried to increase the size of the rear blade? I am concerned on fit. The local O'Reilly does not stock this so it would be a little gamble for me to try...

    Thank you!!!

The motor will handle the greater wiper drag, but check to see whether an extra 1/2" of wiper blade sweep (top and bottom) will contact the weatherstripping or anything else.

    Thank you!

I looked at the wiper attachment and it even looked like the next size up, at 14", might fit. But I didn't look at the wiped area and realized after you noted to check that at 14" it would wack the top spoiler!!! I called the local O'Reilly's and they have Bosch R1116 and R1216 in stock. R1116 is the OE 11" size, but I decided to risk it after measuring as carefully as possible and took the R1216, which is 12". It fits and sweeps fine, but maybe because of the longer length there might not be enough pressure on the edge so that towards the top of the stroke it does not contact the top portion of the window as well in the area swept by the wiper blade. Going to keep it as it doesn't wack the top spoiler....

Thanks, y'all, for the thread. It's good timing, since I'm starting to look at wipers for my car.

    SM-N910V ?

Just an FYI, within a year this blade has gone bad, chattering while swiping. I think it may have been old stock as it didn't fully sweep in the beginning/possibly already stiff when I purchased it! If you get a Bosch they have a 30-day return policy if you get old stock, like I think I did in this case!
