My personal comparison of 2014 PiP to 2017 Prime

Now that the precipitation has changed to the non-frozen variety and some steady and heavy rains have been falling during my commute my appreciation for the Prime's rain sensing windshield wipers has increased. In the 2014 PiP I used to need to keep adjusting the intermittent wiper frequency and sometimes setting to low speed as I was commuting and as the rainfall rate or the speed of traffic changed. That is no longer an issue now as the 2017 Prime's rain sensing windshield wipers go from the off position thorough a number of intermittent frequencies and even to the low and high positions based on the amount of water hitting the windshield.

Another plus for these is that when I am passed or pass a large truck or bus and that wave of water splashes directly on the shield I no longer need to increase then decrease the wiper frequency taking my focus off the road. Now I just drive and the rain sensing windshield wipers take care of adjusting to eliminate the excess water.
