    Hey all,
My 2008 Prius broke down about a month ago and I've been waiting on a Mini VCI cable to get here. I got v 10.30.029 in case that makes a difference. Was able to install as per instructions, but for some reason when I go to update the drivers so my computer will read the cable, it says that "Windows could not find driver software for [my] device". I've tried various other things but it won't work on that front. I've tried just plugging it in and seeing if it'll work regardless, but when I open Techstream and hit connect to vehicle, it demands that I update the software as the one I have went obsolete in September. Of course, I can't do that unless I'm missing something that's right in front of my face. Anyone know how to get this working?

The Mini VCI cable should come with a CD that contains Techstream software as well as the driver for the cable. Assuming that is the case with your unit, just install the driver after installing Techstream.

Turn off the wireless access to your computer and disconnect any Ethernet cable that is plugged in. You do not need to access the web for any purpose while using Techstream.
