Tell me what you want, but Gen4 is for me the best design of them all.

Best years made. My 08 paint looks new to this day along with interior. Give your 08 a new paint job and it will smile like your 16

That '08 has a warm and friendly looking face. The '16 looks like an angry old man. Get off my lawn!

I think of the movie "Cars" when I see a gen 2 from the front. Sometimes I half expect it to grin and say something. :D

I think the Gen 2 Prius is the better looking car. I had one and wish I still had it. While I like the fuel economy of the Gen 4, I really loved pretty much everything about the Gen 2 Prius. It was love at first sight and purchase at first affordability. More room, more storage, did not have to take hands off the wheel for anything, etc, etc. Of course, it could have also been because its the first car I truly loved. Totally trouble free. The new one, while it returns phenomenal fuel economy, even under spirited driving, and even with all its bells and whistles is just another car to me. Ask me in a few years, and maybe I have a different response.

I like the new one. Very cool design, just wish they made the Prime exterior design for the standard Prius.

Hear hear! It was spacious (tons of front/rear legroom), lots of storage space (hidden drawer!), fuel efficient, spacious cargo area and had cool tech like the 7" MFD (some ppl remarked that I had "TV" in the car since LCD screens weren't widespread back then) and SKS.

I've had many more complements on my 16 than I ever had with my 05. I don't miss the jelly bean at all.
