change prius 2010 front axle

    Any one can help me with a video or pdf, to change the front axles ??
    Actually i don't want to take to any dealer
    Because they are not qualified enough to work with cars ..

    The procedure is similar in all FWD cars, but late Toyotas are tough due to staked axle nuts. I'm facing the same job, but will try to repack grease first in case that works. What are your symptoms and miles?

    Another thought. Read the wheel bearing instructions. The most difficult step is common for both repairs. Maybe even it's worth to do both?

    I replaced an axle on a 2010 yesterday. The manual excerpt you posted made it easy-peasy. Autozone, btw, loans a slid hammer kit that works like a charm. Comes in a black case, # 648611T, deposit is $125 plus tax.
