    interesting, everything i have ever heard/read is that toyota calls it 'lifetime'. not, 'change it at 120k under ideal conditions'.

    nice write up, but i think you should fill it until it runs out, not to the level of the old fluid. i see he mentions this afterward.

    sorry, never heard of a 'transmission counter', can you post a pic?

    Yeah, I wonder version of Prius he owns and what manual he's reading. None of that jibes with my US versions.

    I agree, fill it to full on level ground (3.9 qt) and don't worry about a counter. Unless of course you have one, then like Bisco says, a picture would be nice.

    It's not my write up, I just found it online haha.

    I was just wondering if you guys knew anything about this "trans fluid counter" because I had never heard of it either.

    I think you may be correct in that maybe he is from a different country and maybe his version of the vehicle does have this "trans fluid counter"
